Tip for dessert

Marble cake is a great dessert that is easy to prepare and does not take much time. I also add lavender flowers and pieces of chocolate to it, because I really like chocolate.

Ingridients:

200 g of butter
200 g of cane sugar
a teaspoon of lemon peel
4 eggs
1 liter of milk
500 g of flour
1 bag of baking powder
40 g of cocoa
100 g of chocolate
4 g Blue Hill Culinary Lavender
powdered sugar for sprinkling
flour and butter for the model

Preparation:

Grease the sardine mold with butter and flour. Heat the oven to 200°C. Prepare the butter beforehand so that it warms up a bit and softens so that it can be mixed into a foamy mixture. Add lemon peel, lavender flowers and sugar to the butter. Gradually add the eggs while stirring constantly. Sift the flour and baking powder and add alternately with the milk to the frothy mixture. Cut the chocolate into small pieces with a knife and add it to the prepared mass. Pour half of the dough into the mold, add cocoa to the other half and mix. Then pour the other half into the model and trace the pattern with the inverted cooker.
Place the cake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes. Turn the baked cake onto a wire rack, then sprinkle it with powdered sugar when it has cooled.

An aroma you don't forget

Lavender syrup consists of water, sugar, lavender flowers and citric acid. Its intense pink color is the result of a natural reaction between the ingredients. Blue Hill lavender syrup does not contain any dyes or additional preservatives.

How we use it

Lavender syrup is an excellent non-alcoholic refreshing drink. True lavender creates a wonderful aroma, which is especially suitable in the hot summer months. The syrup can also be used in desserts or to prepare a refreshing cocktail with it. We recommend mixing in a ratio of 1:9
